Manish Adhiya:
Manish’s 20 years of franchise expertise began in the mid-eighties when his family invested in the franchise motel industry. Manish was exposed to all areas of the
business including sales, marketing, public relations and general operational knowledge of a franchise business. He gained further sales experience while working at a steel foundry in Orville, Ohio where he provided sales analysis information to investors.
After relocating to San Diego, Manish honed his expertise in the art & psychology of selling as a
sales representative for the nation's top ranked insurance agent for a record 14 consecutive years - State Farm Insurance.
Thereafter, Manish was retained by a major bank to help implement the In-Store Bank Branch expansion throughout Southern California and was recognized as a top performer. During Manish’s tenure, not only was the in-store division the fastest growing, it proved to be the most successful and most convenient for customers.
Mike Watorski then recruited Manish for a position in sales in the medical products industry. Once again Manish proved to be a top performer, and was subsequently recruited as National Sales Manager for another medical company. Mike and Manish teamed up again to join in the re-design and development of a major San Diego-based franchise
company. In the 5+ years Manish was there, he was awarded the Development Representative of the Year Award in 2001 & 2002. Manish’s experience and background combined to allow him to cement relationships between different ethnic communities leading to numerous franchise sales, and to implement new methodologies to reduce costs, increase sales and elevate brand presence in the franchise community. Manish was quickly promoted to Director of Franchise Sales for his achievements, and within two years was promoted to Vice President.
Manish's wealth of knowledge in the areas of franchise agreement negotiation, commercial leasing and franchise financing make him a key resource for large and small franchise systems alike.

Mike Watorski:
Mike Watorski has a long history of experience in retail business. Mike's affiliation with franchising dates back to the late 1970's, where Mike was employed by one of the largest McDonald's Franchisees in the United States. During that era, Mike occupied a variety of managerial positions within their organization.
After college, Mike engaged his entrepreneurial instincts and restaurant expertise by acquiring two pizza parlor Franchises in San Diego County (California). Mike's previous experience working for a large Franchise Management Company developed his understanding of what his Franchisor should provide to his operation. During this experience Mike found that all Franchisors do not offer the same level of support and guidance to their systems. Startling discrepancies between his prior experience and his current experience helped shape his knowledge of Franchising expectations from both sides of the negotiation.
In the early 90's, Mike moved from the private sector to the corporate world. Here he spent over 6 years working in a managerial capacity for a Major Health Care company. During this period, Mike developed new strategies and procedures to sell high end products and services over the phone. During his tenure, he managed up to 15 Sales Representatives at one time, selling a variety of tangible goods to several different markets. This experience became invaluable when designing sales staffs in the future.
Mike's affection for Franchising drew him back to the Franchise arena in late '98. Mike served as Vice President of Franchise Development for a mature Franchise organization in San Diego, CA. During his 7+ years of service, Mike achieved consistent measurable growth and noteworthy recruitment success.
Over the years, Mike has made a name for himself in the Franchise sector. Mike has been asked to speak publicly at a number of Franchise Recruitment events. He has been the Keynote speaker for the UTEP School of Franchising, in El Paso Texas. In addition, he has spoken at several International Franchise Association (IFA) Franchise Development Seminars, and at other Franchise Recruitment functions. These engagements have made Mike a recognizable Guru on the subject of Franchise Recruitment and Development.
Mike's goal is to offer his advice and expertise to select Franchise organizations looking to jump start their Recruitment and Development efforts and results. ZGurus was formed to accomplish this quest.
